Gentle Breeze Kennels was founded by Diane Mech, and named after Breeze. Gentle Breeze kennel is a Small hobbyist-breeding kennel that breeds for temperament longevity and obedience.

I have been involved with goldens for over 10 years. I am a member of Car-Dun-AL ODTC and the Elgin Kennel Club. I am showing in the Obedience ring and have started looking at the conformation ring

I have a limited, but well-planned breeding program. Breeze, Storm, Tsu, and of course my boy Comet all live in my home and are raised with my three children and many nieces and nephews who are here daily. I am an at home mom and spend my day caring for my children and dogs. This also allows me the time to spend raising healthy happy well-socialized pups. The Golden Retriever is a marvelous animal they have the brains, the beauty but most of all the loyalty which makes them the all around American Family dog. But with that title holds many responsibilities for the breeders to the puppies as well as to the Breed and the families who purchase one of their Goldens.  This is why the first weeks of their life are critical building blocks in raising good Healthy well-socialized Goldens. This is why all of my puppies are whelped, raised and cared for in their own room on the main floor of our home this allows them to experience the everyday sounds and activities of a VERY active home.
The whole family takes part in raising the litter of puppies this gets the puppies accustomed to loud noises, children handling them and the everyday movements of children. (All of her children are taught how to handle the pups before they are allowed with them) I feel this makes it easier for the puppies to adjust to a home with children.
All of our dogs have a Classic Reddish Golden color that shines and glistens when they move.
We take pride in our lines and Breed for temperament, personality, companionship, and longevity.
We feel that goldens were created to bless this world so we count our blessing with every litter we have.

We want our puppy owners life with a Golden just as blessed and fulfilling as ours have been with our Goldens.All puppies are sold with an AKC-L limited registration (some limited registrations may be lifted only after the puppy has reached 2 years of age and has a good temperament, are physical and mentally healthy, are fully certified, and you have studied and understand the importance of a proper, well planned breeding program.)

We understand that sometimes things happen and that you may have to part with your loved golden. We know this is a hard thing to do and are willing to help. We will welcome back any of our goldens at any time or will help you find a new happy home for them, which ever works better for you.
